The successful Helen Doron English franchise network recently concluded its successful “Young Heroes on the Move!” campaign, an initiative that exemplifies the strength and unity of our global educational group. Running from November 2023 to June 2024, this campaign was designed to highlight the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, reinforcing our commitment to the holistic development of children.
A Unified Global Effort
The “Young Heroes on the Move!” campaign was a testament to the collaborative spirit that defines the Helen Doron English franchise network. With learning centres in 40 countries and over 1,200 locations worldwide, our network came together to promote an active lifestyle among children. This campaign showcased our educational values and demonstrated our ability to mobilise and unify our global resources for a common cause.
Strengthening Communities Through Holistic Education
Helen Doron English believes in integrating physical activity, proper nutrition, and overall well-being into our educational programmes. This campaign brought these values to life by encouraging children to engage in regular physical activities, which are proven to enhance cognitive skills and brain development. By promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, we are making a tangible impact on the communities we serve, contributing to the holistic growth of children.
Global Campaign, Local Impact
The “Young Heroes on the Move!” campaign saw participation from Helen Doron Learning Centres worldwide. This unified effort benefited local communities and reinforced our network’s shared commitment to bettering children’s lives. Working together demonstrates how our franchise model can drive positive change and foster a sense of global unity and purpose.
Championing Healthy Living
Highlighting the exceptional efforts within our network, the campaign celebrated three outstanding projects that exemplified our mission and resonated with hundreds of people in the community:
First Place: Zagreb, Croatia
- In Zagreb, twenty Helen Doron Learning Centres collaborated to organise the Helen Doron Champions race at Savski nasip. With support from 15 sponsors, over 400 students participated, promoting mental and physical health while fostering a strong community spirit.
Second Place: Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine
- Partnering with the local Gutsul Running Club Juniors, Ivano-Frankivsk hosted athletic competitions for around 300 children from various regions of Ukraine. The event featured thematic sessions encouraging an active lifestyle and was highlighted by an inspiring Tokyo Marathon run by their leader, Tetiana Hutsul.
Third Place: HDE Senec – Ivanka pri Dunaji, Slovakia
- Starting at the bus stop, this project engaged the entire community in kinaesthetic group games and healthy outdoor activities. The event culminated in a local running race, with about 200 children and 200 adults participating, promoting intergenerational unity and healthy living.
Social Responsibility
In line with our commitment to fostering a healthy and active lifestyle, 60% of the campaign winnings will be donated to a charity or non-profit organisation supporting this mission. This gesture amplifies the impact of our efforts, ensuring that the benefits of an active lifestyle extend beyond our immediate community.
