Social Responsibility

Pride in Mentorship and Social Responsibility

Our company culture is grounded in a commitment to issues that impact children everywhere. From relieving distress in a crisis, to fostering understanding on a local level or promoting animal welfare, Helen Doron Educational Group takes a proactive role. We’re very proud of our social programs and have won three global awards for our role in mentorship.

We care about our local and global communities. It’s in our DNA!

Young Heroes Campaigns

A yearly “Young Heroes” campaign focuses on empowering children to influence their communities, each one concentrating on one or more of the company’s core values. The generous winners’ prizes are donated to non-profit organisations related to the specific value promoted. Topics such as: helping solve a local concern in a community, promoting literacy and encouraging kids to be active and stay physically fit, are worked on together by students, teachers, parents and franchisees in local learning centres or on a national level. Many of these projects have long-term effects and are ongoing long after the campaign is over.

Supporting NGOs

Helen makes a point to include the importance of contributing to those in need whenever interviewed for television, radio, or newspaper, as it is such a significant part of what the Helen Doron Group stands for. Charitable efforts are an important part of the entire network’s belief system, more concerned with ethical benefits than promotional ones. Equality for minorities, animals and all living beings are an essential part of the Helen Doron mission; the company cafeteria only serves vegan food. The Group supports several Animal Rescue Organisations that save injured, abandoned or neglected pets. Dedicated to the relief of animal suffering and sponsoring programs, Ms Doron even brings her own dogs to work and encourages employees to do so
as well.
