Helen Doron Visits Hungary – A Celebration of Community and Achievement

From 31 May to 2 June 2025, Helen Doron, founder of the Helen Doron Educational Group, visited Hungary for a series of inspiring and memorable events that highlighted the strength and spirit of the Helen Doron community in the region.

The visit began at the Annual Conference in Budapest, where Helen shared exciting updates from the Pedagogic Department. The atmosphere was warm and energising, and the day ended on a high note with a dinner cruise along the River Danube—an opportunity for franchisees and teachers to connect, share experiences, and enjoy the stunning views of the Hungarian capital.

On 2 June, Helen was interviewed on national TV (TV2), sharing the Helen Doron vision with a wider audience. Later that day, she attended a special event at the Learning Centre in Érd, where she was joined by Dr. László Csőzik, Mayor of Érd, to cut the ribbon and officially open the newly renovated space.

The event celebrated Hungarian students who reached the finals of the international “It’s Always Debatable” competition and those who have achieved the challenging C2-level English exam—a true testament to the excellence of English education in Hungary.

A vegan reception and children’s cooking workshop reflected core Helen Doron values—health, sustainability, and hands-on learning. The visit ended with a heartfelt dinner with Hungary’s Master Franchisees, Szilvia Mészáros and Gergely Frenkel.

Though brief, Helen’s visit left a lasting impression. It was a powerful reminder of the impact we create when passionate educators, motivated students, and visionary leaders come together.

Thank you, Hungary, for the warm welcome and unwavering dedication to our shared mission!
