Our Methodology
5 combined elements of uniqueness
The Helen Doron MathRiders programme is based on a proven, successful methodology that caters to children’s different learning styles and opens their minds to the language of mathematics. Designed by experts in child development and education, the MathRiders method promotes an understanding of maths through fun activities and encouragement.

Positive Reinforcement
Teachers give positive reinforcement to build self-esteem, nurture the child and inspire them to learn. Even complex concepts and problems become understandable and surmountable if you have faith in your own strength and confidence in your ability to succeed.

PIG – Principle
Use of wide variety of Props, focus on teacher-and-student Interaction and play lots of Games to enhance natural and effective learning. Through connecting the concepts of ‘maths’ and ‘play’. MathRiders creates an elaborate educational environment that enables students to operate in a rich mathematical context.

Spiral Learning
Key maths concepts are presented repeatedly throughout the curriculum, but with deepening layers of complexity and in different applications. This allows for the material to be more thoroughly absorbed and understood.

Personal
Small Groups meet the needs of the children and help them develop cognitively, socially and emotionally. Small classes of 4-8 students combine the benefits of both personalised attention and the fun of group activities.

Songs and Movements
Maths concepts are absorbed through songs, so they are learned naturally and joyfully. When children are singing and dancing, clapping and beating out rhythms, they are bringing maths concepts to life and activate deeper cognitive mechanisms that enhance overall learning efficiency.
MathRider’s teaching method takes into account our students’ unique learning styles and use age-appropriate games, movement and music to maximise kids’ natural love of learning.
