Learning to Love Maths
Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, MathRiders students begin to recognise mathematical models in their everyday lives.
Students love things that they understand and that bring them a feeling of self-confidence and success. In the classroom, students pursue a variety of activities to stimulate their minds and encourage a natural understanding of the subject.
In our MathRiders programme, we offer a wide variety of tools and techniques aimed at supporting and developing different types of intelligences:
- Drawing tasks, graphical presentations of concepts and clearly illustrated printed materials – for visual learners
- Songs, dance movements and various activities with musical instruments – for musically smart learners
- Brain Jogs and rich movement activities – for body-smart learners
- Collaborative group tasks and interactive games – for people-oriented learners
- Explanatory tasks and discussions calling for self-expression – for young leaders
- Wide range of word problems and analytical tasks – for logical and critical thinking learners
- Eco-focused tasks and natural materials as part of the lesson – for nature-sensitive learners
Regardless of the leading intelligence type of each single student, they all are immersed in the environment that activates and stimulates different senses and learning abilities which facilitates overall, well-rounded development and brings joy of success.
In MathRiders, we know: When students have fun doing something, they will do it more often!
